Paul Latimer FPMI

Paul Latimer graduated from Manchester University in 1986 with a degree in physics.

Paul joined Barnett Waddingham the same year. He developed a keen interest in software and systems while focusing on life and pensions actuarial work and continuous mortality investigation studies. In 1993, he moved to join the Buckinghamshire pension administration team, where he was able to put these skills to good use in setting up the Firm’s Profund benefit administration system.

He is now in charge of day-to-day pension administration services at the Amersham office and continues to specialise in pension administration systems. This includes leading a team of programmers responsible for maintaining the pension administration teams’ in-house software across the UK offices.

Paul has obtained the
Institute of Actuaries’ Certificate of Actuarial Techniques and is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute. He regularly attends pensions industry conferences and seminars as part of the PMI’s continuing professional development requirements.

Paul was made a Partner of the Firm in June 2004 and is a member of the Firm’s Pension Management Committee, which is responsible for setting strategy within the pension administration business. He is currently a committee member of the
NAPF North London Group.

In his spare time Paul plays football, enjoys reading and going to the cinema.
