Paul Houghton FIA

Paul Houghton graduated from Warwick University with a degree in Mathematics in 1998 and joined Barnett Waddingham. Paul qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2003. In 2005 he took a year off to spend time travelling before returning to the Amersham office's actuarial team in early 2006. Paul became a Partner in 2009.

Paul is a Scheme Actuary and provides advice on a wide range of actuarial and investment issues to both trustee and corporate clients.

Paul is currently Chairman of the firm’s Non-Professional Training Committee, ensuring that staff in all departments have sufficient training and knowledge for their work. Paul has also served on the firm’s Pensions Actuarial Technical Committee, on the Institute of Actuaries’ Sessional Meetings Committee and assisted with the Profession's current issues in funding seminars.
