Mark Underwood FIA

Mark Underwood graduated with a first-class Mathematics degree from Manchester University in 1983.

Mark joined Barnett Waddingham in 1989 and is responsible for the Leeds office. He is a member of the Firm’s Management Board.

He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1991 and became a partner in 1993. Mark specialises in actuarial and consultancy advice covering all aspects of corporate pension arrangements and he is responsible for a wide portfolio of clients. Mark is also involved in the provision of expert witness advice and advice on the apportionment of trusts.

Mark is a regular speaker on pension matters at both internal and external presentations.

He commenced his career with General Accident Life in York and worked there until 1989.

Mark is married with two children and in his spare time he enjoys participating in and watching most sports and in particular Middlesbrough football club.
