Julian Mainwood
Julian Mainwood FPMI Dip CII
Julian graduated from Amersham College with a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance.
He began his career in the pensions administration industry in 1988. He joined Barnett Waddingham's pensions administration team in December 1999, having previously worked within both a pensions consultancy and an insurance company.
He is a Fellow of the
Pensions Management Institute
(FPMI), having completed the necessary exams in 2001 and is a member of the Chartered
Insurance Institute
by Diploma (Dip CII).
Julian is responsible for a team administering a varied portfolio of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Within this role, he is also involved in the day to day operation and management of the department and sits on a number of internal committees. He is also involved in devising, implementing and monitoring the firm's PMI study policy, with specific responsibility for co-ordinating PMI continuing professional development (CPD) arrangements for students and qualified staff. Julian became a Partner of Barnett Waddingham LLP in 2011.
Julian is married with a young daughter and son and in his spare time enjoys playing golf.
