John Lawton FIA
John Lawton graduated from Bristol University with a BSc (Hons) in Economics. He joined Barnett Waddingham in February 2008 following the firm's acquisition of Garvins. He had previously worked for Garvins for 9 years and became a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2006.
John is a Scheme Actuary and provides advice to trustees across a variety of pension schemes. In his spare time John enjoys travelling around Europe, especially during the winter-sports season. He is also a voluntary member of the Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS), which helps scheme members resolve disputes on a wide range of pension issues.
