John Harrison
John Harrison FIA
John Harrison graduated in 1985 and qualified as a Fellow of the
Institute of Actuaries
in 2000.
John joined Barnett Waddingham in July 1998 and became a partner in June 2005.
John is a Scheme Actuary and has over 20 years experience of dealing with corporate pensions and spends the majority of his time advising Trustees on all aspects of their pension arrangements. He has developed extensive knowledge of developments in actuarial work and in wider pensions issues. He has particular expertise in the area of US accounting standards for pensions and how they apply to UK subsidiaries.
John is a former member of the committee of the Yorkshire branch of the
Society of Pension Consultants
and until recently spent a number of years on the firm's Pensions Actuarial Technical committee.
John spends his spare time with his young family and following the fortunes of Middlesbrough football club.
