John Cormell FIA
John graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics in 2002 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2006.
John joined Barnett Waddingham in February 2008 following the firm's acquisition of Garvins. Throughout his actuarial career, John has specialised in advising trustees operating occupational pension schemes and has gained experience on many pension issues over the years including wind ups and PPF assessment work. John is the Scheme Actuary for a number of his clients.
As well as advising trustees of occupational pension schemes, John is responsible in the Bromsgrove office for providing expert advice on one-off cases such as quantifying pension losses and apportionment of trusts.
John is married with one young son and in his spare time enjoys swimming, skiing, juggling, surfing and church.
