Helen Turner FIA
Helen graduated with a first class degree in Mathematics from Merton College, Oxford in 2006. She joined the pensions actuarial team shortly afterwards, following on from a summer placement with Barnett Waddingham whilst still at university, and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2009. Helen became an Associate of the firm in June 2012.
Helen advises both Trustees and Employers on a wide range of defined benefit pension schemes. She has experience of a wide range of actuarial and consultancy work including valuations, investment strategy, benefit design, corporate accounting work, member communications, wind ups and scheme mergers.
Helen is the firm's representative on the actuarial committee of the Society of Pension Consultants, which reviews and responds to consultations affecting actuarial work.
Outside of work Helen enjoys swimming, skiing, cooking and travelling.
