Guy Dove
Guy Dove FPMI
Guy graduated from Sheffield University in 1995 in Geography. He attained the NVQ Level 4 Qualification in Pensions Administration in 2002 and became an Associate of the
Pensions Management Institute
(PMI) in 2006, passing all nine examinations at the first attempt. Guy became a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute in January 2011.
Guy joined the Barnett Waddingham administration team in Leeds in 2000 and became Liverpool office’s Administration Manager in 2007. He has over 12 years of pension administration experience, the first two years of which were at a large in-house pension scheme where he gained valuable experience in all aspects of pension administration. He has worked on a variety of contracted-out final salary pension schemes, including open, closed, frozen and winding-up schemes, and schemes applying to enter the Government’s Financial Assistance Scheme and Pension Protection Fund.
Guy regularly reports back to clients at Trustee meetings, and is used to attending pension surgeries and members’ meetings to give help to members. He is also a Committee member of the
National Association of Pension Funds
Manchester Group. Since qualifying, Guy has acted as a tutor to PMI students and as a ‘mentor’ to work colleagues taking the exams and has written some articles that have been published in the pensions press.
