Claire Lancaster FIA

Claire graduated in mathematics from Oxford University in 1992, commenced her actuarial career in 1993 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1998.

She joined Barnett Waddingham in 2006, having previously worked for Higham Group (now part of Capita) and Aon Consulting.

Claire is one of the team leaders of Barnett Waddingham's London pensions actuarial team and has experience of all aspects of corporate pension arrangements.  She is a member of the firm's Pensions Actuarial Technical Committee. This researches new actuarial and pensions issues to ensure that appropriate advice is provided and also oversees production of the firm's quarterly newsletter. She is also a member of the Communications Group of the Pensions Practice Executive Committee of the Actuarial Profession and regularly presents at the NAPF's Trustee Training events.

She is a founder member of the firm's Green Committee and out of work is a very keen choral singer.
