Ben Pullen
Ben Pullen FIA
Ben Pullen graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in Economics and Mathematics in 2000 and joined Barnett Waddingham later that year. Ben qualified as a Fellow of the
Institute of Actuaries
in 2005 and was made a Partner of the firm in 2011.
Ben holds a number of Scheme Actuary appointments and advises trustees on all aspects of defined benefit pension schemes. In addition Ben advises several companies on pensions issues. Ben has considerable experience in advising schemes in the process of transferring to the
Pension Protection Fund
or applying for assistance from the Financial Assistance Scheme and helps co-ordinate this work across the firm.
Ben is a regular speaker at Barnett Waddingham's breakfast seminars and in-house trustee training sessions.
Outside of the office Ben is kept busy by his very active young son.
