Annemarie Allen CIPSA MIOD

Annemarie was educated in Sussex, commencing her pension career in 1982 at the Greater London Council.

Annemarie joined Barnett Waddingham in 2010 as a Senior Pensions Consultant providing pensions administration and benefits consulting, employer advice and pension fund governance services. She works across a number of our Practice Areas and is our member representative of the Local Government Employers Pensions Technical Group. She brings with her a wealth of experience gained in her career with the Greater London Council, London Residuary Body and the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA), where, as a third party administrator, she also worked with many London Boroughs and where she was Assistant Director Specialist Services and a member of the Corporate Management Team.

She has considerable working knowledge of funding, data and other issues affecting membership and employers and how these may be managed, with a successful track record of resolving employer issues while meeting the needs of the Funds in which they participate, as well as the introduction of processes and systems to increase effective data flow and processing.

Annemarie is married with three daughters, two of whom are currently at university and one of whom has emerged with a Masters in hand to join the working world. In her free time, Annemarie is often to be found at Stamford Bridge watching Chelsea, where she has a season ticket. She also enjoys a long distance walk or two and as a Rotarian, is often involved in voluntary work of one sort or another.
