Andrew Roberts FIA

Andrew graduated from Cambridge University in 1996 with a degree in Mathematics and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2001.

He joined Barnett Waddingham in 2005 and was originally based in our Amersham office. He moved to Liverpool in 2006 to look after a portfolio of SSAS and SIPP clients and to bring additional expertise in pension simplification matters. He has been advising on pension arrangements for directors and high net-worth individuals since 1996.

In 2013 he became responsible for the Firm's SSAS Practice Area, which has a team in five of the seven offices, and which includes Funded Unapproved Retirement Benefit Schemes.

In 2011, Andrew was appointed as Chairman of the Association of Member Directed Pension Schemes, the trade association dealing with SSAS and SIPP matters.
